Beach clean-ups

Small Change has helped our community remove no less than 3.6 metric tonnes of plastic through beach clean-ups.

Volunteers from all walks of life are welcome, working together to clean parks, beaches and shallow water areas, which are susceptible to waste accumulation. Safety gear is provided, all volunteers are given a thorough briefing and a post-clean-up debrief to unpack their experience. Beach clean-ups are an excellent opportunity to participate in citizen-science and dialogues around the impact of oceanic waste, as well as the ways that we can all work to reduce it.

Public clean-ups are free to attend and listed on our upcoming events page.
